Downhill Riders Ladies Only Program - CHIX ON STIX!!!

Downhill Riders exclusive female ski & snowboard club encourages women to join together and shred the pow in the Rockies!

Downhill Riders is proud to offer Edmonton's only exclusive female ski & snowboard club. Throughout the 2009-2010 winter season we hope to encourage women, just like yourself to join together, take on a new sport and or increase their experience to feel confident in skiing or snowboarding the powder in the Rockies!

chix on stix girl t-shirtDownhill Riders takes over 7000 skier/riders to the mountains each season. The biggest complaint we have from the male population is that there is not enough women hitting the slopes. The biggest complaint we have from the women is their lack of experience or knowing someone to share the adventure.

Downhill Riders is going to change the female outlook on the whole skiing and snowboarding sport by making it easy to join, easy to learn and a network of women in the same situation. The Benefits of joining would be:

  • Discounted lessons with other adult females two nights a month at Snow Valley, our local ski hill.
  • Discounts on clothing and equipment at local retailers.
  • Ladies night to meet other women in the city who are either just learning or looking to meet new ski/ride partners.
  • Discounts on Downhill Riders tours to encourage them to jump on our tours and experience the rush of the Rockies.

The Chix on Stix club is a lifetime membership for a one time fee of $25.00. With this membership fee you receive not only all the great benefits mentioned above but an exclusive Chix on Stix t-shirt.

Chix on Stix are heading to Snow Valley for some fine tuning and fun in the fluff. Join us for good turns and to improve your ridin' style. See you on the hill!

Lessons are from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Please be registered and ready for your lesson by 6:15 pm pm see the DHR Representative! this years lesson is $26.00 - if you prebook 3 lessons you receive a 10% discount!

All lessons must be paid when registering thru Downhill Riders this season at 780-489-7669… please register by the Monday at 5pm before the lesson so that we can get instructors booked.
